Hello All,

I need some help. I am a new user of Catia V5. I was attempting to set the display through "tool", "options", "genaral". I changed the background color etc. Then I selected P3 platform. AND NOW I'm STUCK! After selecting p3, I no longer have anything except SPACE and a grid. The tool bars are gone and the F keys do not function. The mouse works, but right clicking does noting. I was hoping by right clicking the mouse would bring up properties etc, but noting. There is a test field in the bottom right corner as well. I need help getting back to p2. Please. Please. HELP!

Try deleting your CATSettings first.

If you dont't know where they are, do a search for "CATSettings" on your machine.

Thank you solid7,
I deleted the said file, but I am still in the same platform.

Depending on how your environment is configured, you may have an icon in your Windows Startup menu called "Settings Management".

This is basically how you access the Options without having a session of Catia running.

On the windows main screen: Start -> All Programs -> Catia -> Tools -> Settings Management. From here, you can reset the user interface style to P2.

This is how my environment is configured. Hope that helps you.

solid7,

THANK YOU! This worked. I did attempt this before, but there wasn't any options under the user interface and there wasn't any this time either. Although this time I left the pointer on the space where the options shld be and the small pop up showed the p1, p2, and p3. THANK YOU AGAIN. I hope I will be able to help you out some day.
