CATIA to IDEAS translation?

I have two questions.
1. Has anybody had any experience in making a drawing in CATIA and bringing it into IDEAS?
2. Has anybody translated a CATIA model into IDEAS, and bring it into the history tree??

I have had some success in the past between CATIA and I-DEAS using .dxf files.

You can exchange CATIA to I-DEAS fully-featured models with history with the Collaboration Gateway product from Proficieny ( This product also supports Pro/E and UG.
