Has anyone taken the CATIA expert V5 R14 Part certification test? I took the specialist exam, which is a written test with 75 multiple choice questions. Can you tell me what the expert cert consists of? I believe that I read it is a multiple choice exam for one part and then an oral test with someone grading you. Is that accurate? Are there any good links that could help me study for the test?

Hi,

When I went for the GSD R12 Expert it was only multiple choice exam. I do not know if they change it or not.

You can always ask the center where you went for the first exam.

Eric and Jet,

Do you think it's 'worth it' to be certified?

Did it help you find a job? get a promotion? Did it help your employer land a contract?

My company hired me b/c I knew solidworks and they wanted me to get certified in CATIA. It should help you get a job.

Eric, when did you take your exam? Was it 75 questions in 60 minutes?

Hi,

Sorry I was away in vacations....

Yes it was ~60 Questions (less question in GSD than PartDesign or AssemblyDesign) in 60 minutes, I had to be certified because I work for a Dassault BP, EP.
