Hello,

I am looking for a instrumentation manufacturer that would provide a system for reactor temperature profiling. Not sure if there is a common name for the system, but it is gaining popularity with new hydrotreaters. Basically, its multiple temperature sensing points through a single nozzle. The sensors are "flexible" such that you can distribute them in any fashion throughout the catalyst bed, regardless of nozzle location.

I am basically looking for manufacturers that offer a comparable system to Gayesco's Flex-R or Flex-O series. I'm not bad-mouthing Gayesco, just trying to find what else is out there.

If you are familiar with such systems, what are your thoughts? Good, bad, hassle for catalyst loading, etc.?

Thank you for any assistance.

it is not just an instrument/measurement issue

don't know of other manufacturers than gayesco, but we used just that one in the ongoing project. i will be able to give you some experience report once we really started up the plant :)

bye for now,
chris
