Casting Tags, HostPointers, Objects and others

I'd like to start a general discussion about NXOpen objects relative to hostPointers, tags, objects, face, bodies and so forth. And how to determine whether to direct casting versus indirect casting methods. I've typical try different methods until I achieve my desired results. All comments are welcome.
