has anyone heard of cascade graphics systems from california.we bought their software in 1987. i would like help converting from cascade to autocad r.14. i currently .dxf out from cascade then .dxf in to autocad.i would like to find a cad program that will open cascade directly, then be able to open in autocad. i have thousands of files to convert

what type of format ie file extention does it use if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place

the file extension is .dwg

what happens when you open it directly from autocad does it come in all jumbled if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place

shadow, when i open directly a message box says drawing file is not valid

Hmm the only thing i can think of is if you already have them converted to DXF then there is a Batch DXF convert utility im sorry but i dont know much about the other software you have does it possibly have batch conversion process or possibly couold it be opened by another cad software and be converted inderectly???

its a start if everyone helps everybody the world will be a better place
