cart2sph not returning values fed into sph2cart

We are attempting to prove some formulas that will be used in a java program by using matlab.

Part of the project is to transform spherical coords into cartesian and then back into spherical.

We have been having some trouble getting the same values back that we start with, so we looked to the functions sph2cart and cart2sph.

We are not getting the same values returned by cart2sph that we are putting into sph2cart.

Any suggestions?
