carbonic acid corrosion

Hi, any experience with carbonic acid corrosion of stainless steel 410 material in hydrogen enviornment?

410 is the alloy of choice for CO2 (carbonic acid) service in the oil patch and provided the recommendations of NACE MR 01 75 are followed, offers reasonable resistance to hydrogen.
 
To be safe with regard to hydrogen embrittlement, do as they do in the oil patch and keep hardness under RC22.
There will be no general attack on 410 by carbonic acid and no pitting will occur absent halides.
