Good Day Everyone,

I have a questions about using oil/gas absorber tower reflux water to make carbonic acid. We tried dissolving CO2 in the reflux water using pinpoint carbonator and it did not work quite well. We also considered membrane contactors to dissolve CO2 for this purpose, however due to high level of organics in the reflux water and concerns of membrane fouling, that is out of the picture as well.

I was wondering what methods/processes/equipment are out there other than the two I listed above to dissolve CO2 in reflux water to make carbonic acid.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Cheers,
Norman
