Hello,
can anyone tell me please where I find analytical formulas for cantilever beam on the elastic foundation (e.g compacted soil) under uniformally distributed load and under end moment or deflection.
Thanks for your support.

Hambly's "Bridge Deck Analysis" is a good place to start, although obviously the formulae are by definition somewhat simple. The relevant chapter contains formulae for translational and rotational spring stiffnesses as a function of E and cu, which can be experimented with in a simple 2D FE model.

I'm not a geotechnical engineer, but found this a very useful text in helping my understanding of how spring stiffnesses are calculated etc, and helped develop an appreciation of the relative stiffnesses of the structure and ground.
