Does anyone know how to detail the heel reinforcement for a concrete cantilever retaining wall that turns 90 degrees? Do the heel bars just overlap in the corner? 1749236219750.png

I would just overlap them yes.

Great thank you! I assume the stress induced from soil pressure is divided somewhat at each side of the corner, and the wall is somewhat restrained along the stem height so I imagine overlapping the bars would be somewhat conservative. Which is fine with me :). I plan to use continuous horizontal reinforcement in the stem around the corner as well.
