Hi users,
I am modelling a cantilever beam on Abaqus, and am investigating the deflection along the distance of the beam.
The following parameters are used: E (Pa)=1.41E+11, poisson ratio=0.314, b (m)=0.003125, t (m)=0.002, F (N)=0.007
I am trying to compare my data to the analytical solution that I calculated using Excel using the Bending Equation.
Unfortunitely, the shape of the two responses is very different, there seems to be an inconsistent result between the two, so I was wondering if you all know what has gone wrong with my model.
Really appreciate your help!
Herman
