Can't select origin in drawing when using hole table.

Here is my problem, if I create a top view in my drawing with the origin in the center I can never select the origin in the hole table panel.

I go to hole table under datum I highlight origin and go back to my top view to select the origin however I cannot select said origin.
I have to sketch a line starting at the origin and then under hole table origin been able to select the end of the line.

This is dangerous as a few times I have found that my line was not exactly on the origin which threw my hole locations off.

Is there a way to select the origin?

Have you tried using the Selection filter?

I just tried using the filter with good results.
In this case I have a hole with centerlines directly over my origin.
When choosing a filter I selected midpoint which grabbed the midpoint of the centerlines which happened to work out.

But I wonder if this will work when the origin is out there on its own.

At any rate thanks I will investigate further.
