Can't Install Solid Edge-Help

I got the Solid Edge V16 CD and I can't install the programm because when I open the setup, it gives an error message saying "Solid Edge V16 Setup has found an existing Solid Edge product. Please use Add/Remove programs applet to uninstall Solid Edge."

The problem is that I don't see solid edge already installed in the add/remove program because I uninstalled it a while ago.

Any tips for fixing this?

I have solid works 2004 and unigraphics already installed on the computer so maybe those are getting in the way?

Also I used to have solid edge installed so maybe I have to remove it from the registry as well?

Hi,

on the SE CD you will find a utility:
X:\SptTools\SECleanup\SECleanupAll.exe (X - the CD drive)

let it run and and the try to install.
Within the registry you may dekete the following keys (complete)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Unigraphics Solutions
