Hi,

I am working with SW2004 SP2.0 under WinXP.
Regardless of the setting of the dimension colors (Tools / Options / Colors) or the settings related to the layer I am working on, the driven dimensions appear red.
The only way I can change the driven dimension color is to select it then click Line Color and select "Default". At this time the dimension gets the color of the Layer it is on.

How can I get the dimensions to have by default the color set in Tools / Options / Colors / Driven Dimensions, or the color of the layer it is on (and how did they get to be always red-or a specific color)?

Thank you,
Sorin

Go to your Line Format toolbar and click on "Color Display mode" This will and should toggle the color back to the proper default color in your Tools\options.
