Cannon connector spacing

Is there a standard or guideline for the minimum spacing of Cannon type connectors to allow for unencumbered connection of cables?

The question you are asking is fraught with danger .
1.Do you want the connectors to be taken off and replaced many times?
2.Which way are the sockects mounted Hor. or Vert?
3.Which way do the cables leave the connectors?
4.When the cables leave the connector do they travel horizontally/vertically away from the piece of kit?

From experience I suggest that you consider at least two to three human finger diameters between the largest diameter of each connector. If there are many connectors on a panel you might consider developing a cylindrical tool that can be slid along the backshell of the connector until it reaches the locking ring and then grip the ring so that it can be rotated thus undoing the connector. There are pliers around with hardened rubber surfaces on them for gripping connector locking rings.

i work in audio and everyday i have to use mountains of balanced cables running on cannon conectors. use shielded cable, use a good one, ive used up to 30-40 cannon conectors in the same path.
just keepem away from power cables.
