Hi,

I have created a graph (XY scatter with data points connected by smooth lines) by putting in information that i need. No trend line seems to fit it at all. It would be very helpful if i could obtain all the y-values for every 0.01 incriment of x. Is there a way i could do this?

Many thanks...

Can you divide the graph into sections and get a trend line for each section? If not, perhaps you have a discontiunity which you should investigate. Assume that you have tried expotential, log, etc. functions other than a polynominal.

I think the original poster wants to do a straight line interpolation betweeen each pair of data points at a regular interval.

Sounds easy.

Just write the equation for the straight line joining each pair, and take it from there.

Do a search for "interpolation" in this forum, and find for example:
