Can we use API 5L Gr.B seamless Pipe in place of A106 Gr.B

Please guide me that can we use API 5L Gr.B seamless Pipe in place of A106 Gr.B.
Please let me know in detail, if we can not use what are the reasons.

API 5L Gr.B is not killed steel. You can check the Si content from its specification.

However, many manufacturers produce dual spec. (conform both API 5L Gr.B and ASTM A106).

API 5L gr B cannot be used instead of A 106 gr B. API 5L gr B is not killed steel as mentioned by Pan while A 106 gr B is killed steel. Killed steel is produced thru bessemer process wherein the oxygen content in the metal is reduced. This reduces crevice cracking of metal. A 106 gr B can withstand higher temperatures in the order of 450 deg C while API 5L gr B can withstand temperatures in the order of 250 deg C.
