Hi,

I have an automatic parts list (with attributes) in Nx, (Master model approach).
This needs to be exploded as manual text, or exported for manual editing.
I prefer exploding the parts list to make it an ordinary table..
Is it possible in NX9.0

Thanks in adv..

Right click on the parts list and click export, or do you need more?

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies.

I got that we can export to a Spreadsheet from ANT in Nx.
But what I really need is to "EXPLODE" the attribute-filled parts list to become an ordinary table with manual text.
Because I would like to add some part names and copy names from the table, to be pasted into an OEM Nx toolkit.
As an example "GREASE" - which has a separate part number to be shown with a BALLOON, but NOT PRESENT in ANT.

Also, I noticed that AUTOBALLOONS disappear if the PARTS LIST is deleted. This is not what I expected..

Any workaround for these things???

Thanks again.

Why not add new rows to your parts list and then type in you manual entries?

@PhoeNX

Yes, I know that.. Actually I want to copy text from this parts list to an OEM toolkit inside Nx..
Also, it beats me why AUTOBALLOONS disappear when PARTS LIST is deleted.. Is there any way to arrest this behaviour through some ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES??

Any ideas?

Thanks in adv..

Have you tried simply cutting and pasting the parts list into Excel ?
I may try it at work tomorrow.
