I would like to copy detailed views across multiple sheets and or multiple drawing files.

I have a standard spot face weld detail that I use and I usually include the detailed view on several sheets in a drawing set. I would like to be able to insert the view fully detailed into a drawing sheet and not have to worry about cleaning dimensions or naming the veiw, kind of like a wblock in autocad. Can this be done? If so how?

Thanks

What about saving the view as a drawing, then using Advanced > Merge to insert it into other drawings?

I'll give that a try. If it works I'll be very happy.

Thanks!!!

Can't seem to find the merge command you spoke of. Mind giving a pointer? Pro/E 2001

Thanks.

Never mind. Wasn't thinking. All is working now.

The ability to edit would be nice.
