Can I have standard material properties for steel in inches,which I can assign directly to my part

Which type of steel are you referring to? There are many many different types of steel that all have different properties. Examples would be, there is CRS (Cold rolled steel), HRS (Hot rolled steel), Stainless steel and so on. Under each of those headers there are many selections from that. For example, Under steel that would be considered cold rolled, there is Steel 1010 or Steel 1018 (1018 is a very common crs used, good properties, good weldability, can be formed well). If you know the type of steel you are wanting to use, then I suggest you goto this website: Matweb They have a great database of material properties that you can use in creating the materials for your models.
