Cameroon Seismic Parameters

I have been asked to design a water tower stand in Dimako, Cameroon. I'm hoping there is an African engineer monitoring this website who can assist with information. I have been unable to determine the type of seismic activity of this area. Are there seismic design parameters, such as Ss & S1 published for areas of Cameroon? If not, are there old UBC zones for Cameroon? If not, can someone point me in the direction of where I can find Cameroon design standards online?

I also need wind information. Since this is inland, I'm kind of defaulting to ASCE 7-10 115 MPH wind speed. Would this be overkill? I understand closer to the equator the winds are not as fast.

I appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide.

I see that a long time ago, Cameroon was under SDB and UBC... not sure if anything has changed in the last few decades. The professional organization is the ONIGC.

Per UFC 3-301-01, Yaounde has the following seismic parameters

PGA: 0.10g
Ss: 0.27g (2475yr / 2% in 50yr) 0.14g (475yr / 10% in 50yr)
S1: 0.13g (2475yr / 2% in 50yr) 0.07g (475yr / 10% in 50yr)

Based on GSHAP maps (PGA = 0.06g for 475yr), I'd think that's a pretty reasonable approximation for Dimako.

I don't have wind data handy, but I'll reach out to our office in Uganda to see what they have.
