I need help designing machine cams. I've tried creating Pro/E part using trajpar but need more flexibility in selecting functions.

You should have posted this in the Pro/E forum

bigrush,

How many years have you been using Pro/e because that's all the flexibility you need. I'm done some pretty complexed cam-followers in both Pro/e and Solidworks.

I agree you might want to post this in the MCAD section

Have you ever considered using Pro/Mechanica Motion? It has one of the greatest cam reverse engineering programs I've ever seen. You just simulate the desired motion of your links and the program will draw the cam that will produce the desired motion. You choose the rotion rate of the cam being solved for.
