Hey,
I know this may sound silly, but I can't figure out how to remove the arrow of a callout box.

Anyone?

Thanks

Hi,

when creating you will find that option under the tab
'Text and Leader' --> group 'Terminator', set it to 'Blank'.
For an already placed one don an RMB and select 'Properties'

That sure rids me of the arrow, but the line is still there..
How do I remove that?

you did ask for the arrow ...
To remove the line and the arrow select it and then within
the ribbonbar there is a button for the leader: set it to OFF

Bad problem formulation on my part, sorry.

Thank you very much!

On the subject of turning off the arrow, I sometimes do that temporarily when re-attaching callouts where the element I am attaching to is quite small and blocked out by the terminator. It would be nice if the terminator was automatically off when dragging to re-attach and then on again when attached.

BC,

... file an IR and promote it ;-) Maybe that there already
exist one and the higher the number of requests the better
the chances that it'll get their attention ....

Don,
Unfortunately, as a contractor I never have the 'authority' to submit enhancement requests or get access to GTAC support etc.
