California ISO SCADA Requirements

This question goes out to you California guys:

My company is currently attempting to iron out the details in some proposal work with regards to California ISO requirements. The proposed project is a new XXX MW CC Plant and the accompanying HV Switchyard
Specifically, the scope of supply that my group would be responsible for is that of the Plant:

1) SCADA/Telemetry via RIG/DPG
2) Revenue Metering
3) Plant DCS

I have been on the CAISO website in attempts to gather as much information as possible about the system requirements and have found that it is a labyrinth of links and .pdf files. My gut tells me that I’m going to have to just go through the painstaking work of filtering through all of these documents and links to make certain that our system architecture is meeting all the CAISO requirements and that there are no gaps in the scope of supply from the Plant/Switchyard. Am I correct?

Any guidance, suggestions, or additional documents relating to this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

I'm also working a project in Cali.... I can't say too much.... Others may be listening. But I would recommend that you contact someone from CAL-ISO and the interconnecting utility ASAP!!!! The ISO and the utility were we're at don't seem to share data so everything has to be built twice and they have some different SCADA requirement that I haven't run into before.....

Have you tried calling them and asking?
