Hello Everyone,

I was hoping to get some advice as to measuring the basic part volume of a part. I have tried to search for relevant information in the "Help" as well as on-line.

In WF 2 .....Analysis > Model Analysis then choose Model Mass Props.

Many thanks acaldwell,

I figured it would be hiding there somewhere. I don't play hide and seek very well I guess.

thanks again.

Yuo need Behavioural Modelling Extension (BMX) if you want to save the parameter in order to use it for analyses. if it's only a quick check you're after, acaldwell already explained.

Thanks for the info pjw,

Unfortunately I don't think I'm quite up to further analyses yet. I'm still grapeling with some of the basics. I needed the volume to get an idea of cost to have the part manufactured by steriolithography, as they price by volume.

cheers.
