Hi,

I have three heaters that are wired in a Delta configuration. Each heater has a resistance of 82.3 ohms. My voltage will be 380 VAC 3 phase. With this information, can anyone here tell me how to calculate what the total power consumption will be in kW?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Power per phase = P=V²/R where V is the line-line voltage

Overall power = 3x power per phase

You do the maths though. :-)

Power is easy enough, but the one I always struggle with is current per phase... I think there's a √3 involved?
