How can I Calculate the flow resistance coefficient (?) for butterfly valve?

Don't know why you want to calculate it. Normally its easier to do a flow test and measure it. Or even easier is just look them up on this table.

"Pumping accounts for 20% of the world’s energy used by electric motors and 25-50% of the total electrical energy usage in certain industrial facilities."-DOE statistic (Note: Make that 99% for pipeline companies)

apf,

With moody chart you can find out flow resistance

Moody doesn't do butterfly valves, or any valves. Pretty much just straight pipe. Not even elbows.
