I am looking to find the ball speed within a ball bearing.
The bearing is a Radial Ball Bearing 14" x 14.625" x 0.3125"
There are 143 balls in the bearing separated by a snap-over cage. The ball diameter is 0.156" nominal.
Lets assume for the calculation that there is no lubrication.
The question is:
If the bearing shaft is rotating at 1rpm, what is the ball speed?
