as the total power output of your alternator is 15KW when all phases are equally ballanced you will have 5 KW of power available per phase. if your optimal output voltage is 220v then the maximum current per phase can be calculated as
P=VI Cos Fie (Cos fie beeing the power factor of the load).
on a resistive load PF =1 the max phase current would be 5000/220= 22.7 Amps (per phase)
phase current can be measured using a dmm (multi meter)and a clamp ct (current transformer).
as for the voltage.... unless the alternator has an AVR (voltage regulator)the voltage will vary somewhat in unisun with the speed of rotation of the alternator. if there is an avr there is usually a means of trimming a pot to give a desired voltage value. if there is no avr and it is critical that you have 220 v then you need to get one. hope this helps you out. good luck!
