Calculate welding strength? 1

First, you need to know the type of welds. Fillet or partial or full penetration.
Second, you need to know the filler metal used. Use one of the AWS SFA specifications to determine weld metal properties.
Third, approximate the welds as lines and determine the strength of the weld joint.

OP, have you actually "made" a product? Or just a computer-based model? Very different things...
