Calculate welding strength? 1

Hi Guys

I need some help to calculate the welding strength on the product that I have made. How do I calculate it without using Inventor etc. ?

Picture 1:
a:150 mm
b: 68 mm

First, you need to know the type of welds. Fillet or partial or full penetration.
Second, you need to know the filler metal used. Use one of the AWS SFA specifications to determine weld metal properties.
Third, approximate the welds as lines and determine the strength of the weld joint.

OP, have you actually "made" a product? Or just a computer-based model? Very different things...
