Hi all!

I have an aluminium plate with some non homogeneity weight on the top.
Under it, there are 4 legs sustaining it.

I can get stresses and deformations easily (sewing surfaces, applying forces, clamps...).

But what i would like to know is the force in the reaccions. I have a limit of Kgs i can't exceed per leg.

This is a problem of classical mechanics, I wonder if it can be solved with Catia FEM

Thank you

Regards,

add a reaction sensor to the clamp

How to add sensor? I found Sensor on three but nothing else in command.
Marco

This is right!

I had 4 legs, 4 sensors and I made an excel in order to check 3rd lay of newton. it works!

thank you!

marcofa,

right click on the sensor node and at the bottom you find different options.

The one i used for the reactions is

create resultant sensor - reaction sensor

Then you select the clamp

Cheers,
David

Fantastic, Thank you.
I realized that for a table with 4 legs I have to set 4 different clamp
Marco

Yes, I forgot to mention that!

If you have to select a specific area, 4 sewed surfaces, 4 clamps

cheers,
david
