we need to weld 25mm dia threaded rod to steel pl (44W) for factored load of 50kN.
We want to use fillet weld only.
Any sugestions what calc to use?

I would suggest using AISC Steel Construction Manual (13th Edition is what I have) Table J2.5 to obtain the shear stress in a fillet weld.

Using CISC weld values for whatever equivalent electrodes and fillet weld size calculate the weld capacity using the base material 44W, the thread material, whatever it is, and the capacity of he threaded material for the thread... Use the lowest of these values.
