CAEPipe Manufacturer now performing engineering services?

Has anyone received an email from SST Systems saying that they are now performing engineering services in the US? Has anyone heard of software manufacturers also being competitors with their customers in this way? Would appreciate any thoughts or comments on the subject.

I think it's pretty common in one way or another. Most software companies have consultants per hourly rate offerings. DNV GL Nobel Denton offers petroleum operating services, engineering services, writes design codes and sells software.
Many software vendors have consulting services on offer to fully explain the nuances of their software. Seems to be especially true of CFD software vendors and Dassault.
