I've recently aquired the job of cataloging a steel componant companies' inventry on proe 2001. They have all their componants on autocad R14 in 2D and some in 3d. I'm clueless as to compatability and or conversion methods but wish to avoid remodelling each of the 1000 or so products if an easier solution is available.

Thanks in advanced, j

The only way I know is to save your parts in AutoCAD in IGS format, you can open IGS files in proe but as I remember those parts are not solid, they are surfaces and some of them are changeable to solid via quilt.
