CAD for Stress Engineers?

Any suggestions for a simple and (almost) free CAD program for a stress engineer?

I'm doing 3D geometry modeling using FEA pre-prosessor (femap), but sometimes I need to make 2D-drawings with dimensions etc. In other words, I want to modify geometry so that is does not look like it was made by FEA program...

I had some problem like this.
I modeled the tower with staad-3 and then change the geometry by a simple program . then a ".dxf" file will prepared for autocad.
