Are there any detailed formulae for the design of a c-frame with regard to stress analysis, deflection at various points on the c-frame? Prefer a non-FEA approach. I have so far used a combination of curved beam analysis and beam analysis. Actual resulting deflection figures are too far off from those calculated.
