C factor of louvre

What cfm are you exhausting the plantroom? Plug the cfm into Q=VA (Q=cfm) (V=velocity, should be <=500 feet per minute so you don't get rain entrapment. Most louvers are 50% free area, so double the A to get the approximate louver size. What does the C factor tell you?

Can you supplier tell you the pressure drop at a specific flow rate/velocity? If so you can calculate the factor.
If he can't then find a similar louvre from another supplier and assume they are have a similar factor, thought the risks with assumptions.

Louver losses/performace: I say measure it up, sketch the profile and go looking on the web for a similar product. Check Westvent, Aerovent, Greenheck was allready suggested. You will likely find the exact profile you have in which case the performance numbers will be identical to your louver.
