i guess i have posting my questions on the wrong feed, but i hope someone here can help. I know that in the mechanical handbook there are equations to find the geometry of a buttress threads, but they are only for standard 7/45 threads. would anyone have any information on where to find equations that can be applied to any buttress thread, possibly based off of the lead angle of such thread?

thank you. that is a good starting point although I am looking for a little more info on the equations behind the 10 deg buttress and 3 deg buttress. i know that most of the equations used in the 7/45 are related to pitch and the lead angle, but can not find any information on the equations for a 10 deg.
