I need to design a burner to burn H2 and Br2 to produce HBr. From patent US6355222 I know that the bromine enter a tube and exits through slits in the wall. The H2 enters perpedicular to this tube and they mix in the chamber surrounding the tube. This mixture then enters a convergent-divergent nozzle and is ignited as it leaves the nozzle. The conv-div nozzle is at the entrance of the combustion/rxn chamber. I need to know how to design/size the burner and the rxn chamber for flowrates of around 525kg/hr HBr. Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Morna
