For a typical concrete mix weighing say 148 pcf I generally use 100 pcf for the unit weight of concrete causing uplift on a submerged form (buoancy = displaced volume x unit weight of "fluid"
. The difference being that the rock part of the concrete doesn't really cause uplift. While this has worked so far, does anyone know of any real research or data that would support this or another value?
