I am working on a job that is replacing an antiquated McCollough loop system with RF transcievers. This is a large site with storage warehouses. Is there a distance limitation to interconnect multiple buildings (FACPs) to a single Transmitter in NFPA. I have been thru both 70 & 72 and cannot find a difinitive answer. The code Art. 760.7 only points to Art. 800 (I II and IV) for conductor installation techniques but dose not give length restrictions. Is there a length restriction or a physcical limitation between the FACP and Transmitter?

Probably not as NFPA deals with life safety not design. Maybe a IEEE reference would help.
