Building Code Inspector - Los Angeles Area

I am trying to find some information for my uncle. He is in the process of becoming a bulding inspector. He has recently passed the written test. And he is going to take the Oral test soon.

We are trying to figuere out if there are any guides, books or other information that discusses information and what he should expect. Are there certain topics he should emphasi in?

If I am in the wrong forum, I appreciate if you guys/girls could lead me in the right direction.
