I need to do a thickness calculation on a dryer roll which was manufactured in the U.K. by Black and Clawson in 1975.

The nameplate is stamped TS=35000psi.

The material is BSS 1452 Class 17. Does anyone know if there is an ASME equivalent for this material?

Thanks in advance.

BS 1452 is a Grey Cast Iron. Look at ASME SA-278 and check stress values. ASTM A278,48
