Does anyone have information on this type of British tubing. I have found it has been cross referenced to a newer standard of T63 but I can not find any information on that either. Im pretty sure it has a 20 Ton tensile strength and is a mild steel. But I would prefer to have a copy of the exact spec.

I have it in a old RAAF engineering handbook and its listed as Mild steel BS 2T.26 Weldable Tube 20 Ton. It has according to this hndbk, tensile strength of 44.8 ksi and yield 24.6 ksi at soft condition.

Not what I would call definitive, but if you want a scan copy I can always shoot you a copy of the page.

good luck.
