Bringing in Simplified Rep loses ability to Parts List Balloons

We're using Creo Element and experience the above-mentioned issue. Is this a bug and is there a work around solution to be able to add balloons? Thanks.

This is intended fuctionality. When model you bring in is different SimpRep that the one upon which BOM is made (let's call it master), you cannot place balloons to the view of that model. There is workaround to set the model with different SimpRep as active model and then create another BOM. Then you need to fix the BOM items to be aligned to the first BOM on the drawing and place balloons to the view.

Disadvantage of this workaround is that when the master BOM changes and items get unfixed or when you reassign BOM items numbers you need to repeat that procedure also in BOM for the model with SimpRep.

Simply change the representation for the repeat region.
