Hi All,

I am currently working on a bridge structure and there are a few concerns we have with respect to the deck waterproofing. Namely, the grade of the structure (almost 10% at the steepest section), temperature during construction of this phase (might be lower than 10 degrees Celsius) and the vehicle traffic loading (specifically the dump trucks for the asphalt). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The grade is actually 8%. Is that really impractical for an asphalt dump truck? My understanding is that the process can be done starting from the bottom of the slope but I did not see any specific limits on the grade for these trucks.

Thanks for sharing the information on BDM product! I have run into some similar spray application products, which would appear to work.

You're welcome.

Regarding the 10% grade, what I meant is that 10%, even 8%, is a steep grade for everyday truck traffic.
