Bridge Deck Modification (after construction)

Hello Engineers.

Good morning. I have an signalized intersection in top of a bridge. I am planing to propose additional lanes to that intersection. My question is can I modify the kerb by cutting some of it adding another lane? How hard is to do that?

Can you post a plan and section? Widening a bridge, or just removing a curb and sidewalk, usually isn't a problem.
