brass or bronze parts

I would like to know if the use of brass or bronze parts in machine, e. g. as part of the cooling lubricant supply, is common or if it is rather ecxceptional? [bigears]

bronze have some internall cracks after a while........look they are the same copper based but i really prefer brass .....and some of brass have haigher yeild strength than bronze, and its not know with internal crack, good bearing pressure to.
