Hi,

I want to create an assembly (please, see the model attached in the picture).
I was wondering if there is a way to create it by using a mirror like feature, but I do not know if Catia product have mirror option (excuse my ignorance, I am a NX user).
Next message will contain more details......

Hi Ferdo,

Thanks for your advice: it does make sense!
Looking for getting you back on eng-tips!

There are two classic ways to do a symmetry (I suppose you need a symmetry) but this depends on company's procedures. Personally I prefer to create a new CATPart (with new number) linked to the other one ( copy and Paste Special As Result with link) and use symmetry inside this new CATPart.

Another way is to use Symmetry command in Assembly Features toolbar in Assembly Workbench (there are also few options there).

Of course, a faster way is to create a macro (for one of these two situations).
